What Happens if I Cancel My Photoshop Subscription
1. What is a software subscription?
A software subscription allows you to purchase access to software products and services for a selected period of time. Billing occurs on a recurring basis only for the term you select.
2. How do I subscribe?
1. On the product's detail page, select the subscription duration and number of licenses you'd like to purchase.
2. Click the "Add to Cart" button and complete the checkout process.
3. You can access the subscription through the purchase confirmation email, in the confirmation page, or in Your Memberships & Subscriptions.
4. Assign license(s) to the desired email addresses, which will be used as your subscription account login credentials.
5. Link your existing account or create a new one for your subscription provider.
3. How do I assign licenses to myself and others?

4. Review important dates: When you began your free trial and when it ends/upgrades automatically
6. Does the software work without an Internet connection?
Offline access depends on the software delivery method, which varies by product and is determined by the software provider. In general, there are two ways that software subscriptions are delivered: download or stream.
For downloadable subscriptions, you need an Internet connection in order to download the software initially. After installation, you will be able to run the software without an Internet connection.
For streamed subscriptions, like Xero Accounting Software or Rosetta Stone Spanish 12 Month Online Subscription, you need an Internet connection to use the software.
For more information about whether or not a particular subscription will run without an active Internet connection, look at the subscription's product page under the "Common Questions" section of "From Your Manufacturer."
7. Will I still have access to my files if I cancel my subscription?
File access varies by software manufacturer. For some subscriptions, you must export your files before cancelling the subscription. For others, you must save your work to your personal device before cancelling the subscription.
For more information about file access after your subscription ends, look at the subscription's product page under the "Common Questions" section of "From Your Manufacturer."
8. How will I be notified on changes in my software subscription details?
You will receive email notifications for several key events, including the initial purchase of a free trial or paid subscription, changes to your subscription settings, cancellations, credit card issues, and changes in renewal settings. You will also be notified when your free trial or subscription is going to expire or upgrade into a paid plan.
9. What if I already subscribe directly through the software company and wish to subscribe through Amazon?
You will be required to create or link an account with the software manufacturer when you purchase a subscription through Amazon. For example, if you currently subscribe to Adobe Photoshop through Adobe directly and wish to subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud Entire Collection through Amazon, you can link your existing Adobe account with Amazon in order to purchase Adobe Creative Cloud Entire Collection. You will not be able to purchase Adobe Photoshop through Amazon because you already have an active subscription to that software through Google.
10. I live outside the United States. Is it possible to purchase a software subscription?
To purchase software subscriptions from Amazon, you must live in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, or Japan. If you purchase a subscription in the United States, you can access the software abroad.
11. Is there a minimum subscription time?
The minimum subscription length varies by product, but most software subscriptions are available for one month as the shortest term length.
12. How many computers can I use with subscription?
The number of computers that may be used varies by product. To see the limits applicable to a particular subscription, look at the subscription's product page under the "Common Questions" section of "From Your Manufacturer."
13. Where can I find information about when my subscription is going to renew/expire?
You can manage your subscription software, including renewal options, through Your Memberships & Subscriptions. You can also manage your subscription settings including auto-upgrades, cancellations, billing method, etc.
14. What happens if I cancel by subscription?
For subscriptions with a term of 6 months or longer, if you cancel your plan within the first 30 days, you will receive a full refund. For subscription plans shorter than 6 months, you will not receive a refund if you cancel before the end of the subscription term.
For some software manufacturers, an early termination fee may occur if you cancel your subscription after the 30-day grace period. Early termination fees may vary by product, but generally customers will be billed 50% of the remaining commitment of the subscription plan. To find out more information about a subscription's early termination fee policy, please see the subscription's product page under the plan term length box on the right-hand side of the page.
15. How often is the software updated?
Software updates vary by software manufacturer. Many software products are updated on an ongoing basis to address customer issues and improve the software experience. A software subscription guarantees that you will always have access to the latest and greatest features.
16. Whom do I contact if I have issues with the product? Billing? Free trials?
1. For product-related issues, including how to install or use a software subscription, please contact the software manufacturer directly.
2. For issues with billing, linking accounts, or subscription access, please contact Amazon Customer Service.
3. For issues with free trials, please contact Amazon Customer Service.
4.You can also ask a question on the subscription's product page under "Customer Questions and Answers."
Free Trials
17. How do free trials work?
Many of our subscription software titles offer a free trial so that you can try the software before you buy. You can "purchase" the free trial edition of the subscription software at no cost and gain full access to the software for a limited period of time (please see the product page for free trial duration). Once the free trial is over, you will be automatically upgraded into a paid subscription plan. You have the option to turn off the automatic upgrade in Your Memberships & Subscriptions.
18. Is the free trial a limited version of the full software subscription?
Your free trial gives you access to the same software as the paid version. There is no difference between the free trial and the paid version other than duration of the trial.
19. How do I start my free trial?
Once you've selected the free trial option, you will link an existing account or create and link a brand new vendor account with your Amazon account. Once you have completed checkout for the free trial at zero cost, your access will begin immediately. You can access the software subscription by clicking the "Access Product" button from the Thank You page or via Your Memberships & Subscriptions.
20. I already have an account with the desired software manufacturer, such as Google. Do I have to create a new account through Amazon to use the free trial feature?
If you have an existing account with Google– whether created directly on the Google's website or through a previous interaction with Amazon – you can link that same Google account with your Amazon account.
21. Is there a limit on the number of free trials I can access?
You can use one free trial per product.
22. How do I cancel a free trial?
You can end your free trial early by clicking the "Cancel" link in Your Software Library's Subscriptions tab. Once you confirm that you want to cancel your free trial, your access to the software subscription will end immediately, and you will not be billed. If you would like to use your free trial through the end of the term but do not want to automatically upgrade to the paid plan, you can turn off auto-upgrade in Your Memberships & Subscriptions.
23. What happens with my free trial ends?
Amazon will automatically upgrade you to the paid version of the software subscription so that you don't experience any interruption in access to your product. You don't have to take any action, and we'll ensure that the software provider extends your access. You can cancel at any time before your free trial ends and not be charged. You can also opt out of auto-upgrading to the paid version so that you have access without getting billed once the free trial is over.
Billing & Payment
24. How often will I be billed?
Billing varies by software subscription. Some software manufacturers allow you to pay for subscription access on a yearly (12-month) basis. For other manufacturers, you are billed on a monthly basis for the duration of your subscription term. Once you make the initial subscription purchase, you will be billed on a recurring basis to the payment method that you have on file with Amazon.
25. Can I pay for 12 months upfront?
Some software manufacturers allow you to pay upfront for longer terms while others only offer monthly billing options. Term options can be found on the product's detail page.
26. Can I use an Amazon gift card to pay for my subscriptions?
At this time, credit cards are the only supported payment method for software subscriptions. Gift cards, debit cards, and promotional codes cannot be used to purchase software subscriptions at this time.
Subscriptions for Business
27. Why are software subscriptions good for businesses?
Subscriptions help businesses convert fixed costs into variable costs, have the latest version of software, and pay for access only as long as they need it.
28. How do I buy subscription software for my business?
From the detail page, you can purchase up to 5 software licenses. After purchasing, view and manage all your licenses in Your Memberships & Subscriptions.
29. How do I assign licenses to myself and others?
First, go to Your Memberships & Subscriptions and click on Other Settings. Then in the Licenses section, to assign to yourself, select "Assign to me." To assign to someone else, select "Add email to assign license" and enter the user's email address. The user will receive an invitation email to redeem this license along with instructions
30. Where can I find all my licenses?
You can see all your subscription licenses by navigating to Your Memberships & Subscriptions and clicking Other Settings. Then in the Licenses section, you will find all licenses that you have purchased as well as any licenses that have been assigned to you.
31. How do I use my license now that I've purchased it?
Once the license is assigned, you will be prompted to link your Amazon account with the software publisher's website. After this, your subscription will be active, and you can access your product at any time from the Subscriptions section of Your Memberships & Subscriptions by clicking "Other Settings" for the specific subscription, then clicking "Access Product."
32. Can I reassign a license?
Yes, as long as a license hasn't been activated, you can reassign at any time.
33. Can I cancel a certain number of licenses from my purchase before the end of the contract?
No. You can either cancel all licenses or select which licenses to auto-renew for the next contract period.
34. Can I transfer license ownership if an assignee leaves my organization?
No. You can only reassign a license if it has not been activated. You may cancel the entire subscription purchase and re-purchase it with a different number of licenses, but early termination fees may apply and the new subscription may have different terms. Please see the detail page for product-specific terms and details.
35. Do you support team licenses?
Yes, the SaaS platform can support team based software products linking multiple licenses purchased under the one subscription plan. Licenses can be un-assigned or re-assigned which is a great feature for businesses with contrtactors or rotating employees. The team feature is product specific.
